The Act provided special measures and rules applicable to the procurement of electricity from renewable energy sources by electric utilities in order to promote the use of renewable energy sources for a secure supply of energy in Japan.

The Circular provides for the mechanism supporting the development of wind power project in Viet Nam. The Circular also provides for the mechanism supporting development of wind power projects including tax incentives, land use incentives, and stipulated prices for grid-connected and off-grid projects.

The Act prohibits the abuse of persons with disabilities by caregivers and provides measures for protection and support for persons with disabilities that have suffered such abuse.

The Act provides a mandatory basic immunization program for infants and children.

The court found that illegal housing projects which filled in Dhaka’s natural drainage systems had caused serious damage to the city’s environment and affected residents’ right to life. It ordered respondents to protect and restore the area and to stop illegal earth filling.

The Act establishes the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia. The functions of the Authority shall include advising the Minister and relevant government entities on all matters relating to sustainable energy; promoting and implementing the national policy objectives for renewable energy, sustainable energy, renewable energy; and implementing the feed-in-tariff system.

The Act established the institutions, mechanisms and procedures for the effective conservation and management of water resources.
