The Tuvalu National Strategic Action Plan (NSAP) for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management implements the National Strategy for Sustainable Development, particularly its strategic priority on climate change and disaster risk management, as well as the National Climate Change Policy, from which it derives its goals. Each goal has strategies and key actions, and cost estimates are indicated to provide an estimate on what it will take to fully implement the NSAP.

Environmental activists had filed suit against the power company, alleging that the company’s carbon dioxide emissions caused harm in violation of federal environmental protection law. However, an Australian court of appeal found that a state-owned electricity generation company was not subject to an implied common law limit on its carbon dioxide emissions.

The Act allows persons who are required or permitted to file, register or maintain information or documents under certain Acts of Parliament to do so in digital formats, and to transmit information and documents directly to a digital database for that purpose.

This Act requires electric service providers to make a net metering program available to customers by which customers may establish a renewable energy-powered customer generation system to produce electricity for their own use and to supply excess electricity to the electric service provider.

The overall objective of the National Strategy on Climate Change is to bring into play national capacity and carry out climate change adaptation measures and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to assure safety for people and properties and sustainable development; to strengthen human and environmental resilience to climate change; develop a low-carbon economy to protect and enhance quality of life, ensure national security and sustainable development in the context of global climate change; and actively join the international community to protect the earth’s climate system. The Strategy likewise identifies specific objectives consistent with the overall objectives and outlines the implementation thereof.

The National Framework for Local Adaptation Plans for Action is intended to assist identification of local adaptation actions with people's participation as prescribed in National Adaptation Programme of Action, development and implementation of action plans, including support for the integration of climate change adaptation into sectoral and area-specific plans. It aims to integrate climate adaptation activities into local and national development planning processes and to create a situation for climate resilient development.

The Order signed by the Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Solomon Islands formally assigns to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change , Disaster Management and Meteorology the responsibility for the administration of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology and certain related acts enumerated in a schedule appended to the order.

The rules and regulations were promulgated to prescribe the procedures and guidelines for the implementation of Title I (National Anti-Poverty Commission) of the Social Reform and Poverty Alleviation Act.

The Renewable Energy Development Strategy aims to develop new renewable energy resources not yet widely explored in Lao People’s Democratic Republic to replace non-renewable resources that will be exhausted in the future. The Government aims to increase the share of renewable energies to 30% of the total energy consumption in 2025. To reduce the importation of fossil fuels, the Government outlines a tentative vision to reach 10% of the total transport energy consumption from biofuels.

The Te Kaniva: Tuvalu Climate Change Policy envisions to protect Tuvalu's status as a nation and its cultural identity and to build its capacity to ensure a safe, resilient and prosperous future. The purpose of Te Kaniva is to set out the strategic priorities for scaling up the Government of Tuvalu’s commitments to respond to climate change, both in terms of current and future vulnerabilities.
