The Act provides the regulation of financial services in Bhutan.

The Regulations set certain fees and penalty notices in relation to the Ozone Layer Protection Act. They specifically provide for application fees and inspection fees. They further include a Penalty Notice Table which indicates the provisions of the Act that were violated, and the corresponding prescribed amount of penalty.

The overall goal of the National Environmentally Sustainable Transport (EST) Strategy is the reduction of the annual growth rate of energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions from the transport sector in the urban areas; and enhancement of sustainable mobility through the development of a viable market for EST goods and services, which involves the promotion of transportation systems of low-carbon intensity and shift towards the use of more sustainable transport modes. The Strategy discusses the issues and challenges in the transport sector, as well as the corresponding strategies, indicators and action plans.

The Action Plan on Joint Response to Climate Change intends to implement the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders' Statement on Joint Response to Climate Change. The Statement recognizes that the South East region is vulnerable to climate change which will seriously affect most aspects of livelihood and limit ASEAN development options for the future. The program of action includes adaptation, mitigation, finance and investment, and capacity building.

The Decree mandates efficient use of energy and provides measures and policies for the implementation of this mandate. Among its salient provisions are the collection of statistical data on energy use, requirement of energy labeling for energy consuming devices, and investment incentives to manufacture energy efficient devices.

The accused in a murder case assailed the testimony of the prosecution for alleged numerous inconsistencies, pertaining to the distance between the dead bodies and the availability of seedling paddy crops. According to the court, even the testimony of a single witness if found to be reliable, confidence-inspiring and unimpeachable, would be a sufficient basis for conviction.

The main objective of the National Water Mission is “conservation of water, minimizing wastage and ensuring its more equitable distribution both across and within States through integrated water resources development and management.” Various strategies for achieving the goals have been identified which lead to integrated planning for sustainable development and efficient management.

The Priority Framework for Action (PFA) initiates the effort to address the impacts of climate change on various sub-sectors of agriculture in Nepal. To this end, the PFA outlines five (5) priority action areas, describes the framework for action and key areas of focus under each of the priority areas, and provides guidelines on the institutional mechanisms for the implementation of the plan.

The issuance promulgates the Climate Change Response Action Plan 2011–2015 of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. The overall objective of the Action Plan is to assess the impact of climate change toward the target groups; to propose and apply the responsive solutions to mitigate the risks caused by climate change in the sector’s domains of management, and positively contribute to the implementation of the National Target Program to Respond to Climate Change.
