The issuance promulgates the Climate Change Response Action Plan 201–2015 of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. The overall objective of the Action Plan is to assess the impact of climate change toward the target groups; to propose and apply the responsive solutions to mitigate the risks caused by climate change in the sector’s domains of management, and positively contribute to the implementation of the National Target Program to Respond to Climate Change. Its specific objectives are to: (i) complete researches, impact assessments and forecasts of climate change toward the development of the sector’s domains; (ii) propose climate change responsive solutions for such domains of the sector; (iii) research, develop, pilot and replicate the climate change responsive projects and models; (iv) complete the review and integration of climate change issues into the sector’s strategies, master plans, plans, programs and projects; (v) raise awareness for the staff and officers across the sector on the impact of climate change and responsive solutions. It also enumerates the main tasks groups and particular tasks for the implementation of the action plan; (vi) initially establish a professional team and a network of collaborators in response to climate change domestically and internationally; (vii) attract the resources of the international community in catering to climate change adaptive actions of the sector. It also identifies the main tasks for the implementation of the action plan.
