National Plan for Tackling Climate Change 2014-2020 (People's Republic of China)
The National Plan for Tackling Climate Change of the People's Republic of China embodies the government strategy for climate action including mitigation, adaptation, scientific research, and public awareness. The targets enunciated in the plan are reducing carbon emissions per unit of GDP by 40 to 45% compared to 2005 levels by 2020, increasing the proportion of non-fossil fuels utilized by 15% for primary energy consumption, and to increase the forest area by 40m ha and stock volume by 40m.

The Law on Plantations aims to improve the welfare and prosperity of the people, increase sources of foreign exchange, provide employment and business opportunities, increase production, productivity, quality, value, competitiveness and market share, improve and meet the needs of consumer and industrial raw materials in the country, provide protection to the plantation business communities and society, manage and develop resources optimally, and increase utilization of plantation services. It also directs every person who opens and cultivates land or grows plants for plantation purposes to follow procedures to prevent damage to the environment.

Ozone Layer Protection (Amendment) Act, No. 4 of 2014 (Vanuatu)
