The Executive Order establishes the Philippine Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management and Reporting System in relevant government agencies to enable the country to transition towards a climate-resilient pathway for sustainable development. The Climate Change Commission is mandated as the overall lead in the implementation of the Order.

The Executive Order institutionalized the Philippine Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management and Reporting System, pursuant to the National Climate Change Action Plan and the Climate Change Act of 2009.

The Act penalizes sexual harassment at the workplace in accordance with the right of every person to work in a safe, fair and dignified environment.

The National Plan for Tackling Climate Change of the People's Republic of China embodies the government strategy for climate action including mitigation, adaptation, scientific research, and public awareness. The targets enunciated in the plan are reducing carbon emissions per unit of GDP by 40 to 45% compared to 2005 levels by 2020, increasing the proportion of non-fossil fuels utilized by 15% for primary energy consumption, and to increase the forest area by 40m ha and stock volume by 40m.

The Law on Plantations aims to improve the welfare and prosperity of the people, increase sources of foreign exchange, provide employment and business opportunities, increase production, productivity, quality, value, competitiveness and market share, improve and meet the needs of consumer and industrial raw materials in the country, provide protection to the plantation business communities and society, manage and develop resources optimally, and increase utilization of plantation services. It also directs every person who opens and cultivates land or grows plants for plantation purposes to follow procedures to prevent damage to the environment.

The Act amends the 2010 Ozone Layer Protection Act by specifying powers and functions of the Director of the National Ozone Unit. Among others, the Act provides for certain conditions and requirements in granting an exemption in relation to the prohibition and restriction of imports of controlled substances.

The National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plan discuss the issues and opportunities in biodiversity conservation and sustainable use. The strategies and action plan envision a happy and resilient Bhutanese community, nurtured by rich spiritual and cultural traditions, valuing biodiversity and living in harmony with it. They set national targets based on the issues, threats, gaps and opportunities identified through a series of stakeholder consultation workshops carried out throughout the country.

The Kiribati Joint Implementation Plan (KJIP) on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management KJIP was formulated with the aim of increasing resilience using sustainable climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction using a whole-of-country approach. The KJIP complements and supports the Kiribati Development Plan, operationalizing an integrated approach to incorporating climate change and disaster risks in national and community development planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluations.

The National Climate Compatible Development Management Policy of Papua New Guinea (PNG) is driven to achieve the mission to build a climate resilient and carbon neutral pathway for climate compatible development in PNG. The Policy focuses on nine sectors, namely, land-use, transport, energy, natural resources, green development, economic development, hazard management, public health and public infrastructure.
