A petition for the issuance of a Writ of Kalikasan was filed against the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), respondent and Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Secretary, due to the Memorandum of Agreement for the construction of a coal-fired power plant in Subic Bay entered into between SBMA and respondent.

The issuance approves the project for the protection and development of coastal forests to cope with climate change for the 2014– 020 period. It promotes protection of coastal forests to cope with climate change and rising sea, to alleviate natural disasters, to protect sea dykes and infrastructure, and to conserve biodiversity; and makes a contribution toward socio-economic development and reinforcement of national defense and security.

The Act provides the laws to prevent the introduction of diseases caused by animals, birds or fish to regulate their movement and to prevent cruelty to these animals.

The case involves a murder charge where the law regarding qisas is clarified. Qisas is defined by Section 299 of the Pakistan Penal Code as punishment causing similar hurt at the same part of the body of the convict as has caused to the victim or by causing his death if he has committed qatl-i-amd (murder), in exercise of the right of the victim or wali (person entitled to claim qisas).

Viet Nam's Intended Nationally Determined Contribution targets reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 8% in 2030 compared to the Business As Usual scenario (BAU), using domestic resources, and up to 25% with international support. The adaptation component describes the climate change adaptation actions that are currently being implemented.

The Competition Order creates the Competition Commission of Brunei Darussalam which has the function, among others, of promoting and sustaining competition in markets in Brunei. It defines and prohibits agreements which prevent, restrict or distort competition, abuse of dominant position, as well as mergers which result or may result in a substantial lessening of competition.

The Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS) action plan and roadmap are formulated in order to move towards the ADS vision formulated by stakeholders as follows: “A self-reliant, sustainable, competitive, and inclusive agricultural sector that drives economic growth and contributes to improved livelihoods and food and nutrition security leading to food sovereignty.” The components of the ADS framework include improved governance, higher productivity, profitable commercialization, increased competitiveness, farmers' rights, commercial farmers, subsistence farmers, and the landless.

This Synthesis Report is based on the reports of the three Working Groups of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), including relevant Special Reports. It provides an integrated view of climate change as the final part of the IPCC’s Fifth Assessment Report (AR5).

The Act is intended to provide for the sustainable management of Tuvalu's seabed minerals. It further regulates prospecting, exploration and mining activities within Tuvalu. The Act provides that all sovereign rights to the mineral resources contained in the waters superjacent to the seabed and subsoil of Tuvalu’s territorial sea, Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf are vested in the State to be managed on behalf of the people of Tuvalu.

The rules and regulations were issued to implement the Go Negosyo Act. It also recognizes the State's policies on inclusive growth and job generation in the Barangay Micro Business Enterprises Act of 2002, and the Magna Carta for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Act.
