Ozone Layer Protection (Amendment) Act, No. 4 of 2014 (Vanuatu)

The Act amends the 2010 Ozone Layer Protection Act by specifying powers and functions of the Director of the National Ozone Unit. The Director is specifically empowered to establish codes of practice, standards, guidelines or operational procedures on matters related to the management and the use of any controlled substance. It further provides for certain conditions and requirements in granting an exemption to the prohibition and restriction of imports of controlled substances. The Act amends the provision on the hydrochlorofluorocarbon import quote license, including the application and quota allocation.
