The National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) is one of India’s eight (8) missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change. The goal of the NMEEE is to strengthen the market for energy efficiency by creating a favorable regulatory and policy regime.

The Act protects consumers by prohibiting misleading and deceptive trader behavior and unfair trading practices. It requires the disclosure of consumer information relating to the supply of goods and services.

The National Adaptation Programmes of Action embodies the adaptation strategy of the Solomon Islands. The need to implement adaptation urgently in Solomon Islands is reinforced by adverse impacts which are already being experienced in the low-lying coastal country, as well as the fact that climate change will be a major impediment to the achievement of sustainable development in the country that is a Least Development Country and Small Island Developing State.

The Credit Information System Act established a comprehensive and central credit information system relevant to credit-related activities in the Philippines' financial system.

The Act regulates the use of renewable energy in the Kingdom of Tonga. The Act established the Renewable Energy Authority which is given the function to take enforcement actions under the Act or any regulations made under the Act including all activities necessary or desirable for the licensing of renewable energy operators as may be prescribed by regulations under the Act.

The issuance promulgates the Climate Change Adaptation Framework Action Program for the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector for the 2008-2020 period. The overall goal of the program is to raise the capacity of the agriculture and rural development sector in mitigation of and adapting to climate change in order to maximally reduce the level of damage and to ensure sustainable development in the field of agriculture and rural development in the context of climate change impacts.

The Medium-Term Development Plan III focuses on the overall goal of "securing [Papua New Guinea's] future through inclusive sustainable economic growth." It intends to utilize key investment to catalyze medium-term economic growth and identifies eight Key Result Areas aligned with the government agenda.

The Act provides for the protection and management of the environment in Tuvalu, among other purposes. It provides for the inspection of premises, issuance of Precautionary Notice and Notice to Cease Activity in case of activities which pose an immediate threat or risk to the environment.

The Decree-Law established the conditions in the award of grants for the pursuit of studies and scientific investigation in higher education establishments or investigation centers, respectively, in foreign countries.

The Decree-Law created the Employment and Professional Training Fund to be used for the purpose of implementing programs for the development of the work skills of the Timorese workforce, thereby encouraging their employment both domestically and internationally.
