The Samoa National Energy Policy envisions enhancing the quality of life for all through access to reliable, affordable and environmentally sound energy services and supply. It identifies five strategic areas, namely, energy planning and management, renewable energy, electricity, petroleum and transport.

The Act regulates the establishment and operations of lending companies.

The Rules and Regulations Implementing the Biofuels Act of 2006 (Implementing Rules) implement and provide detail to the provisions of the Biofuels Act of 2006. They contain Rules governing the mandatory use of bioethanol and biodiesel, incentives for biofuel producers, distributors and users, as well as the functions of National Biofuels Board, other government agencies, and stakeholders.

The amendment to the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons introduced privileges and incentives granted to disabled persons, and to those who are caring for and living with a person with disability. The amendment further included prohibited acts relating to verbal, non-verbal ridicule and vilification against persons with disability.

The petition was filed alleging denial of equal protection when a quarry mining permit in an environmentally sensitive area was denied the petitioner but granted to another party. The court found that while the petitioner was denied equal protection, due to environmental considerations, the area should in fact be closed to mining and the permit was improperly granted to the other party.

The National Disaster Risk Management Framework has been formulated to guide the system of disaster risk management in Pakistan. The Framework envisions to achieve sustainable social, economic and environmental development in Pakistan through reducing risks and vulnerabilities, particularly those of the poor and marginalized groups, and by effectively responding to and recovering from disaster impact.

The Memorandum Circular laid down the general principles to be considered in the establishment and management of critical habitats. It shall be enforceable within public lands for all terrestrial and wetland areas outside the protected areas established under the National Integrated Protected Areas System Acts, and privately owned lands where threatened species are found.

The Administrative Order creates the Presidential Task Force on Climate Change (PTFCC). It must be noted, however, that the PTFCC has been reorganized by virtue of Executive Order No. 774 of 2008.

The Presidential Task Force on Climate Change (PTFCC) is mandated under this Executive Order to develop the National Climate Change Framework. The PTFCC is mandated to formulate frameworks and review and monitor programs and projects in relation to climate change.

The Resolution required distribution utilities to post an itemized breakdown of their generation charges in their respective websites.
