Magna Carta for Disabled Persons, as Amended, Republic Act No. 9442 (Philippines)
Disabled persons shall be entitled to privileges and incentives including a discount in identified establishments, admission fees charged by identified places, purchase of medicines, medical and dental services, as well as domestic air and sea travel, among others. Persons who are living and caring for disabled persons are also granted the tax incentives accorded to individuals who have dependents. The amendment prohibits verbal, non-verbal ridicule and any vilification against persons with disability.
