Executive Order No. 785 of 2009: Mandating the Presidential Taskforce on Climate Change to Develop the National Climate Change Framework (Philippines)

The Presidential Task Force on Climate Change (PTFCC) is mandated under this Executive Order to develop the National Climate Change Framework. In particular, the PTFCC is mandated to formulate and develop a national climate change framework that will integrate, consolidate and institutionalize government initiatives to achieve synergy in the implementation of climate change programs and projects, coordinate and review government and official development assistance programs and projects; monitor the implementation of climate change projects, perform such other functions as may be assigned by the President. Moreover, the Presidential Adviser on Climate Change shall coordinate and review government projects on adaptation and mitigation, as well as official development assistance projects on adaptation and mitigation.
