The Circular was issued by the Department of Justice for the formulation of the rules and regulations to implement the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 2004.

The Act provides the legislative framework for the regulation of pre-need companies to derive their optimum advantage in the mobilization of savings.

The objective of the National Forest Policy of Tonga is to support the management of the forests and trees of Tonga in a sustainable manner to provide benefits for current and future generations of the Tongan people. The Policy envisions that the rural and urban landscape of Tonga will be tree-rich, that the people of Tonga will value their forests and tree resources and understand the need for their management, and that indigenous forests will be conserved through national parks and reserves, and forest reserves.

The Roadmap for Democracy and Sustainable Socio-economic Development (RDSSED) 2010-2014 outlines the strategy for attaining sustainable democracy, good and just governance, socio-economic development, and national unity. The RDSSED is grounded on the objective to identify and implement policies to propel the country in achieving the collective vision of "A Better Fiji for All."

The case tackles post-disaster relief in the wake of Cyclone Alla which devastated Bangladesh in May 2009. Petitioners argued that the constitution entitled them to the necessities of life, and that the disaster showed that Bangladesh was unprepared for the natural disasters anticipated due to climate change. The court granted interim orders for the support to residents of disaster-affected areas and to repair damaged embankments.

The National Green Growth Roadmap is intended to further economic growth within the limits posed by the environmental carrying capacity. Based largely on the United Nations Economic and Social Commission of Asia and the Pacific’s holistic Green Growth Approach, the Roadmap is drafted with the conviction that the economy, the environment and society are not mutually exclusive but rather interdependent, deeply intertwined and integral components of each other.

The National Policy on Climate Change is intended to help ensure climate-resilient development to fulfill national aspirations for sustainable development. Five principles underpin the 10 strategic thrusts to set the national direction in responding to the challenges of climate change. The Policy states that Malaysia recognizes the adverse effects and impacts of climate change and undertakes to mainstream national responses that consolidate economic, social and environmental development goals based on the following principles: development on a sustainable path, conservation of environment and natural resources, coordinated implementation, effective participation, and common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.

The Act prohibits and penalizes the production, offering, distribution and possession of child pornography.

The case involved a challenge against the joint venture agreement (JVA) between the government and Niko Resources (Bangladesh) Limited for gas exploration. Niko's drilling activities caused severe blowouts which resulted in loss of life, property, cattle, trees and fisheries, as well as exhausted gas reserves in the area. The court held that the JVA was valid but directed Niko to pay compensation.

The Regulation on Energy Conservation provides that national energy conservation shall be the responsibility of the government, provincial government, regental/municipal governments, entrepreneurs and communities. The implementation of energy conservation shall cover all phases of energy management namely supply, exploitation, utilization and resource conservation.
