The Revised Tariff Policy of 2016 amends the Tariff Policy of 2006. The amendments aim to promote generation of electricity from renewable sources, and to increase access to affordable electricity.

The Kiribati 20-Year Vision (KV20) embodies the long term development strategy for the country. Anchored on four pillars of Wealth, Peace and Security, Infrastructure, and Governance, KV20 envisions a wealthy, healthy and peaceful Kiribati by the year 2036.

The National Sustainable Development Plan of Cook Islands is hinged on the country's 2020 National Vision "To enjoy the highest quality of life consistent with the aspirations of [its] people, and in harmony with [its] culture and environment." The Climate Change Action Plan of Singapore sets its strategies to address climate change, conscious that Singapore, a low-lying island state, is vulnerable. The Plan offers four strategies namely improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions from power generation, developing and demonstrating cutting-edge low-carbon technologies, responding to challenges of climate change through the collective action of government agencies, individuals, businesses, and the community.

The Kiribati Development Plan 2016-19 is grounded on its vision "towards a better educated, healthier, more prosperous nation with a higher quality of life." It covers goals on education and future employment, as well as health and prosperity.

The Climate Change and Disaster Survival Fund legally establishes the Tuvalu Climate Change and Survival Fund with which the government will provide vital services to the people, and as a measure of response to future climate change impacts and disasters in Tuvalu. The Act provides that the Government shall contribute an initial amount of 5 million AUD into the Fund and will consider future contributions as and when it is necessary.

The Law is formulated for the purpose of protecting and improving the environment, preventing and controlling air pollution, safeguarding public health, promoting the ecological infrastructure development, and facilitating sustainable economic and society growth. The Law contains chapters on Air Pollution Prevention and Control Standards and Attainment Plans to Achieve Them Within Allotted Time, Supervision and Administration of Air Pollution Prevention and Control, Air Pollution Prevention and Control Measures, Joint Air Pollution and Control in Key Regions, and Counter Measures to Heavy Pollution Episodes, and defines certain legal liabilities.

The National REDD Plus Strategy is intended as a framework for the conservation of Malaysia's forest sinks and biodiversity, in view of growing challenges. The Strategy forms part of the REDD Plus requirement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to access results-based payments.

The heirs of the deceased had pardoned the petitioner, which pardon was being invoked in support of the bail application. However, the court denied the application because the offense was committed not only against the victim but the State as well.

The Environmental Impact Assessment Procedure outlines the process whereby projects having the potential to cause adverse impacts on the environment may undertake an Initial Environmental Examination or Environmental Impact Assessment or to develop an Environmental Management Plan, and to obtain an Environmental Compliance Certificate in accordance with this Procedure.
