The vision for the National Power Policy of 2013 is that Pakistan will develop the most efficient and consumer centric power generation, transmission and distribution system that meets the needs of its population and boosts its economy in a sustainable and affordable manner. It sets nine (9) goals to achieve the long-term vision of the power sector and overcome its challenges.

The case involved the acquisition of land by the government for a supposed public purpose which land was eventually used to build an 18-hole golf course. Petitioners contend that the process infringed on the right to equal protection of the law guaranteed by the constitution. The court said that a constitutional directive on environmental protection, when combined with the public trust doctrine, obliged the government to protect the environment in furtherance of the people’s trust.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature World Declaration on the Environmental Rule of Law (World Declaration) was prepared by group of experts from the World Commission on Environmental Law at the International Union for Conservation of Nature World Environmental Law Congress. The group drafted the World Declaration with the intention of establishing environmental rule of law as the legal foundation for environmental justice.

The National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) embodies the climate change framework of the Philippines, which prioritizes food security, water sufficiency, ecological and environmental stability, human security, climate-smart industries and services, sustainable energy, and knowledge and capacity development as the strategic direction for 2011 to 2028. The NCCAP outlines the specific programs and strategies for adaptation and mitigation for 2011 to 2028.

The overarching objective of National REDD+ Strategy (NRPS) of India is to facilitate implementation of REDD+ programme in the country in conformity with relevant decisions of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the national legislative and policy framework for conservation and improvement of forests and the environment. The REDD+ activities include reducing deforestation, reducing forest degradation, conservation of forest carbon stock, sustainable management of forests, and enhancement of forest carbon stocks.

The goal of the National Ramsar Strategy and Action Plan is for Nepal’s Ramsar sites to be conserved, wisely used and restored benefits are recognized and valued nationally and globally. Key actions identified by the Policy include effectively conserving and managing the Ramsar site network, building federal and local stakeholders' capacities for the wetlands and Ramsar sites, enhancing the Ramsar implementation through national and international cooperation and monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the National Ramsar strategy and action plan.

The National Energy Efficiency Action Plan addresses issues on energy supply by efficient management of demand. The Plan promotes energy efficiency in order to meet the policy direction to "promote energy efficiency to ensure productive use of energy and minimize waste in order to contribute to sustainable development and increased welfare and competitiveness."

The constitution of the Independent State of Samoa defines, among others, the territory of Samoa and the structure of government. It recognizes fundamental rights, whose enforcement is cognizable by the Supreme Court.

The Myanmar National Framework for Community Disaster Resilience gives guidance to stakeholders in creating resilient communities in Myanmar. It sets out actions aimed at resilience building to aid in the preparation of communities in facing disasters and their impacts, as well as to facilitate recovery.

The Act establishes a National Environmental Protection Authority for the protection and management of the environment in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The primary purpose of the Authority shall be to preserve and improve the quality of the environment.
