The general objective of the program is to gradually realize the National Strategy on climate change, increase awareness and capacity to adapt to climate change, and move towards reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, building a low-carbon economy and actively working with the international community to protect the earth's climate system. Specific goals to achieve the general objective are likewise identified, as well as the main contents and tasks of the program, which shall be implemented from 2012 to the end of 2015.

The People's Survival Fund (PSF) Act aims to provide long-term finance streams to enable the government to effectively address climate change. It amends the Climate Change Act for this purpose. The Act directs that the amount of one billion pesos (P1,000,000,000.00) shall be appropriated under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) as opening balance of the PSF. Thereafter, the balance of the PSF from all sources including the amount appropriated in the GAA for the current year shall not be less than one billion pesos (P1,000,000,000.00).

The Order provided the regulations on the control and licensing of housing developers in Brunei Darussalam.

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 recognizes the vital role of information and communications technology in nation-building, and provides for the regulatory framework to ensure that the privacy of individuals are protected. It established the National Privacy Commission which is mandated to implement and ensure compliance with the international standards set for data protection embodied in the Republic Act.

The Report focuses on the enjoyment of cultural rights by women on an equal basis with men. The Special Rapporteur proposes that culture should be viewed, not as an obstacle to women’s rights, but one that seeks to ensure equal enjoyment of cultural rights. This approach will be instrumental in the realization of all their human rights.

The case involved a residential development on land designated as a sub-flow zone under Dhaka's master plan. The court halted the development because the constitutional right to life, including the right to protection and improvement of environment, prevails over all other legal claims and rights.

The National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) is the national mission document providing the vision and the roadmap for the faster adoption of xEVs (full range of hybrid and electric vehicles) and their manufacturing in the country. The NEMMP envisions reliable, affordable and efficient xEVs that meet consumer performance and price expectations through Government-Industry collaboration.

These Regulations amend the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations. The amendments include empowering the Director to require a project proponent to submit an Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan. They also repeal and substitute the provisions and tables on penalties for violations of the Regulations.

The Executive Order recognizes that the adoption of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms will provide a more inviting climate for private investments, especially for large-scale, capital-intensive infrastructure and development contracts.

The law provides the framework for environmental policy and the principles for environmental conservation and protection, as well as the preservation and sustainable use of natural resources. The law specifically mandates compliance with the following guiding principles: sovereignty principle, intergenerational solidarity, prevention principle, precautionary principle, participatory principle, polluter pays principle, international cooperation principle, integration principle and principle of seeking the most appropriate level of action.
