National Electric Mobility Mission Plan 2020 (India)

The National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) of India is the national mission document providing the vision and the roadmap for the faster adoption of xEVs (full range of hybrid and electric vehicles) and their manufacturing in the country. The NEMMP envisions reliable, affordable and efficient xEVs that meet consumer performance and price expectations through Government-Industry collaboration for promotion and development of indigenous manufacturing capabilities, required infrastructure, consumer awareness and technology, thereby helping India to emerge as a leader in the xEV Two-Wheeler and Four-Wheeler market in the world. In order to operationalize the NEMMP, various schemes, interventions, policies and projects will be finalized and approved for roll out based on the approach enunciated therein.
