The Communications Strategy seeks to enhance understanding of climate change and climate disaster risk reduction and impacts, enhance relationships among partners to support climate change awareness initiatives, maintain a high profile for the government's climate change initiatives, and strengthen communication capacity, procedures and collaboration across government departments. The Strategy presents certain overarching messages that may be refined and tailored as suitable for the target audience, channel, tool and budget.

The use of solid fuels (fuel wood, biomass such as crop residues, rice husk briquettes and cow dung) puts a strain on the country's limited forest resources, as well as causes household pollution which is a serious health hazard. To address this, the action plan defines what is needed to kick-start and develop the clean cookstove market in Bangladesh.

The development of this Framework for Implementation of National Climate Change Policy (NCCP) is a follow-up of the NCCP, the parent document providing broader framework concerning how to adapt to the changing impacts of climate and how to play a role in its mitigation. This Framework for Implementation of NCCP is developed keeping in view the current and future anticipated climate change threats to Pakistan’s various sectors.

The Act mandates that the Government shall establish a Witness Protection Programme for protection and safety of witnesses in any proceeding relating to the Act. It provides for the actions which may be taken for the protection of the witnesses such as the establishment of a new identity, concealment of identity, compensation to heirs in case of death of the witness due to his/her involvement in the case, and the like.

The Act defines bullying and provides the legal obligation of all elementary and secondary schools to adopt policies which would prevent and address acts of bullying in their institutions.

The Act amended select provisions of the Price Act, including definitions of basic necessities and prime commodities, and duration of the automatic price control for identified products.

The issuance approves three component projects under the National Target Program to respond to climate change. The projects approved are (i) Assessment of climate change and sea level rise; (ii) Development and implementation of action plans to respond to climate change; and (iii) Capacity building, communication and monitoring and evaluation of the Program implementation.

The Act provides for the regulatory policy and framework on toy and game safety labeling for the protection of children against potential hazards to their health and safety.

The Act establishes rural farm schools for the beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program pursuant to the State's principles of social justice and social equity.

The Action Plan for Energy Efficiency and Conservation consolidates and coordinates different Energy Efficiency & Energy Conservation programs and measures towards achieving a set of national targets. The plan envisions efficient use of energy at all levels including generation, transmission, and distribution, as well in the demand side.
