The Administrative Matter promulgated procedural rules applicable to petitions for rehabilitation of corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships which are filed pursuant to the Financial Rehabilitation and Insolvency Act of 2010.

The Act established the regulatory system on farm-to-fork food which ensures high level of food safety, promotes fair trade and advances the global competitiveness of Philippine food and food products.

The plaintiff filed a suit against her brothers to the effect that she is the legal sharer in a parcel of land, being the legal heir of her father. The defendants opposed, claiming that their sister had already received her hereditary share in the form of cash from one of her brothers. The court held that the allegation that the plaintiff was paid must be proven through cogent and reliable evidence.

The Act amended the previous Insurance Code with the objective of further strengthening the Philippine insurance industry.

The Law states that prevention and eradication of forest destruction shall be based on the principles of justice and legal certainty, continuity, state responsibility, public participation, vicarious liability, priority, integrity and coordination. It mandates that prevention of forest destruction shall be undertaken by the public, legal entities and/or cooperatives obtaining forest utilization permits.

The goal of the Kaveinga Tapapa, the Climate and Disaster Compatible Development Policy of the Cook Islands, is to provide an integrated and coherent policy and planning framework that directs country led and coordinated adaptation and mitigation actions and resources towards climate and disaster compatible development outcomes. Its intended strategic outcomes include sustainable water, food, energy and social security; increased community preparedness and adaptation to risks and impacts; effective and sustained use of land, sea and natural resources; and safeguarded biodiversity and ecosystems.

The Law establishes the National Natural Disaster Management Committee, which duties and powers include laying down the policies for natural disaster management; forming various disaster management work committees; allocating responsibilities among the committees at the regional or state level; submitting a report to the President to declare disaster affected areas; coordinating local authorities and organizations for timely evacuations; screening, cooperating and supervising international organizations or foreign countries aiding disaster management efforts, among others. The Law also empowers the President to declare an area as a natural disaster-affected area if it is known that there has been a severe natural disaster which causes extensive loss of life and property, and damage to the environment and it is believed that there may be difficulties in the rapid restoration of normality.

The National Disaster Response Framework has been prepared for the effective coordination and implementation of disaster preparedness and response activities by developing a National Disaster Response plan that clarifies the roles and responsibilities of Government and Non Government agencies involved in disaster risk management in Nepal. The main purpose of this framework is to develop a clear, concise and comprehensive national disaster response framework for Nepal that can guide a more effective and coordinated national response in case of a large scale disaster.

The Act established the basic policies on the measures for the prevention of bullying in order to protect the dignity of children.

In the absence of stipulation, the interest for the loan or forbearance of money, goods or credits, shall be 6% per annum.
