The National Environment Sector Plan (NESP) 2017‐2021 outlines the sector's vision, goal and an achievable framework for action that is aligned with the Strategy for the Development of Samoa (SDS) 2016‐2020, the sector policy and legislative framework, and regional and international obligations under various multilateral environmental agreements to which Samoa is a party. The plan consists of four Long-Term Outcomes (LTOs) under which 15 End of Sector Plan Outcomes (ESPOs) will be pursued.

National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (Maldives)
The National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan 2016-2025 seeks to ensure that threats to biodiversity are addressed, biodiversity is conserved, sustainably used and benefits arising from them are shared equitably.
The NBSAP is composed of three (3) guiding principles namely: (i) the people of this generation and the generations to come reserves the right to access and share benefits of rich biodiversity and ecosystem services; (ii) responsibility of conserving and sustainability using biodiversity lies on everyone's shoulders and shall be taken as a shared responsibility; (iii) biodiversity shall be mainstreamed into all sectors and in a manner whereby monitoring progress and accountability is ensured.

Re-Vamped National Food Security Mission Operational Guidelines, 2018 (India)

Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy Technologies Act, 2016
The Act established the Pakistan Council of Renewable Energy Technologies. The Act mandates the council to, among others, acquire, develop and disseminate techniques and processes for promotion and propagation of alternative and renewable energy techniques, establish facilities and expertise for developing suitable technologies to produce materials, devices and appliances in the fields of alternative and renewable energy sources, organize research and development in the fields of alternative, new and renewable energy technologies.

Environment Act 1999 (Kiribati)

Samoa Energy Sector Plans 2017-2022
The Samoa Energy Sector Plans (SESP) 2017-2022 underscores the importance of the energy sector to Samoa and its development. All of the key national outcomes identified in its Strategy for the Development of Samoa (SDS) are affected by the availability, accessibility, affordability, stability, sustainability, safety and environmental impacts of the different uses of energy. Thus, the vision of the SESP is derived from the SDS: "access to quality energy supply for all improved," with the guiding theme of "sustainable and affordable energy for all."
