The Anti-Dummy Law penalizes and prohibits persons and corporations who evade or circumvent the foreign ownership restrictions under the Philippine Constitution and/or other relevant provisions.

The goal of the National Climate Change Action Plan for Public Heath (NCCAPPH) is to reduce morbidity, mortality, injuries and health vulnerability to climate variability and extreme weathers. The Regulation provides that the aim of a REDD activity is to prevent and reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in order to enhance forest management. The Regulation also provides for REDD proposal, assessment and approval procedures, as well as the rights and obligations of REDD proponents. It further specifies that the time limit for the implementation of REDD is a maximum of 30 years and can be extended in accordance with the existing regulations.

The case involved a commercial complex which was built on portions of two natural bodies of water in Dhaka. The court found that the water bodies played a pivotal role in keeping Dhaka safe from water logging and flooding. It upheld the decision directing the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association to demolish its illegally constructed building.

The Supreme Court, for the first time, referred to the fundamental rights of the victim in an "honor killing." The court held that one one does not have the right to take a life in the name of Ghairat (honor).

The Rules and Guidelines for the Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) for On-Grid Areas direct electric power industry participants to obtain a percentage of their electricity requirements from eligible renewable energy sources. The Rules impose a minimum annual RPS requirement and minimum annual incremental percentage of electricity sold by a mandated participant.

The National Policy on Disaster Management (the ‘Policy’) is a core component of Sri Lanka’s national regime for disaster management. It articulates agreed overarching principles and preferred outcomes for disaster management in Sri Lanka.

The National Adaptation Programme of Action of Samoa envisions achieving a high-level of community capacity for adaptation to adverse impacts of climate change. It identifies key adaptation needs, as well as existing and potential adaptation activities for various sectors.
