This regional capacity development technical assistance (R-CDTA) is designed to address a plethora of issues affecting gender equality in the legal and related sectors and to plug significant gaps among institutions. It aims to strengthen the capacity of investigating, prosecuting and decision making bodies, and equip women with adequate knowledge of their rights to access social and legal justice leading to a stronger, more inclusive society.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), together with International Finance Corporation, Financial Times and London School of Economics, organized a conference on corporate governance challenges and opportunities in Asia. 30 institutions from across 18 provinces were represented at the fourth in-country Train-the-Trainers (TTT) program in PRC. Government environment officials stressed the need to build human capital for a green future at a dialogue with environmental law professors.
