India Train-the-Trainers 2.0 Training

The Asian Development Bank conducted an online training workshop for environmental law champions in India on 22-28 November 2020. The seven-day training program covered current and emerging environmental issues and challenges, best practices, tools, and techniques for teaching and application. Teachers or has taught Environmental Law for at least a year to a maximum of eight years in any of the Bar Council of India-approved Law schools were selected for the program.

ADB's Legal Team Conducted Brownbag Seminar on Uzbekistan Arbitration Law Reform

On 27 October 2020, ADB hosted a Brown Bag seminar to discuss the development and adoption of a Law on International Commercial Arbitration in Uzbekistan, which received a compliance check by the UNCITRAL. The participants discussed the importance of the Law to the country’s business climate and governance.

OGCs Law and Policy Reform Team organized a capacity-building workshop for judges and climate activists during the 84th Extraordinary Session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in Samoa on 6 March 2020. Challenges and opportunities in climate litigation involving vulnerable groups, like women and children were discussed.

Cebu TTT 2.0 Training, Philippines

The Asian Development Bank conducted a training workshop and roundtable for environmental law champions in Cebu City from 14 to 16 August, 2019. This three-day training program covered current and emerging environmental issues and challenges, best practices, tools and techniques for teaching and application.
