Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program: State of Environmental Law in the Philippines (Evolution, Challenges, Prospects and Opportunities)
This is the first session in the Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program that ran from September to December 2021 and was hosted by the Republic of the Philippines Legal Education Board in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), IUCN Academy of Environmental Law (IUCNAEL) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). This session provides lectures and discussions on the state of environmental law in the Philippines.
Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program: Launch Event
This is the launch event for the Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program that ran from September to December 2021 and was hosted by the Republic of the Philippines Legal Education Board in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), IUCN Academy of Environmental Law (IUCNAEL) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). The session is the first of the Legal Education Board’s 12-week Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program in support of its Revised Model Curriculum of the Basic Law Program (RMLC), which has provided for the mandatory teaching of environmental and natural resources law as a non-core subject in all Philippine law schools.

These trainings are part of a series under the Republic of the Philippines Legal Education Board’s 12-week Environmental Law Teachers Online Training Program in support of its Revised Model Curriculum of the Basic Law Program (RMLC), which has provided for the mandatory teaching of environmental and natural resources law as a non-core subject in all Philippine law schools.

Third South Pacific International Arbitration Conference: De-Risking Investment in the South Pacific Through a World Class International Arbitration Disputes Regime
To raise awareness and discuss the positive development impact of international arbitration reform in the South Pacific, the Asian Development Bank, in conjunction with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, and other renowned arbitration institutions and development partners, hosted the Third South Pacific International Arbitration Conference (the “Conference”).
