Regulation for the Environmental Clearance of Projects

This Regulation provides for the issuance and enforcement of environmental clearances for individual projects.

Seeds Act of Bhutan, 2000

An Act to regulate import and export of Agricultural seeds, to prevent introduction of plant pests and diseases and to promote seed industry in the country aimed at enhancing rural income and livelihood.

Forest and nature conservation Rules of Bhutan, 2006

These Rules implement provisions of the Forest and Nature Conservation Act, 1995.The Rules issue administrative responsibility to the Department of Forests for the preparation of Forest Management Plans.

Environment Court Act, 2000

An Environment Court and an Environment Appeal Court are instituted under this Act and Judges apointed:the Courts shall rule trials under environmental laws and condemn violators of those very laws. Special Magistrates may be appointed for particular trials, power of investigation and inspection shall be accorded to inspectors in order to gather useful evidences. 

The Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

The Constitution is the supreme law of Bangladesh. Adopted on November 4, 1972 by the constitution assembly and amended 15 times since then.

Municipal Act, 1999

This Act provides for the establishment of Municipal corporations as legal entities with powers to forge partnerships between the Municipal Corporation, residents, businesses and industries for the effective development and governance of Bhutan's urban communities.

Water Resources and Planning Act, 1992

The Institution shall: conduct the general planning of environmentally balanced water resources for the purpose of developing water resources, determine the national means and methods for the scientific utilization and preservation of water resources and carry out other functions relating to advising, collection, disseminating of information, training, etc. as specified in section 7. 

Mines and Mineral Resources Act, 1992

The Act provides for the control and development of mines and mineral resources. The Government may make rules for regulating the grant of prospecting licences, mining leases or facilities and for the purpose of preserving and developing mineral resources (section 4).
