Fiordland (Te Moana o Atawhenua) Marine Management Act 2005
This Act (a) establishes the Fiordland (Te Moana o Atawhenua) Marine Area and 8 marine reserves in that area: (b) implements measures to assist in the preservation, protection, and sustainable management of the marine environment and biological diversity of the Fiordland (Te Moana o Atawhenua) Marine Area: (c) establishes the Fiordland Marine Guardians to provide advice on fisheries management, biosecurity, sustainable management, and marine preservation and protection: (d) facilitates and promotes cooperation between the Guardians and management agencies, to assist in achieving the integrated management of the Fiordland (Te Moana o Atawhenua) Marine Area: (e) acknowledges the importance of kaitiakitanga.
Mines and Minerals Act (1985)
This Act provides for the development of mines and mineral deposits existing in the country. The Act classifies minerals based on their nature and importance as specified in section 3A.

Regulation of the Trade Minister No. 44/M-DAG/PER/9/2009 on the Procurement, Distribution and Control of Hazardous Materials
This Regulation provides for policies related to the procurement, circulation, sale and control of locally-made and imported hazardous materials in order to control their abuse that may cause disturbance to health, human safety, animals, plants and the environment. The Regulation specifies the types of hazardous materials produced domestically or imported, regulates the distribution of hazardous materials, sets out the conditions for distribution, and gives provisions on the packaging and labelling. Distributors and retailers of hazardous materials shall have a Permit to Trade Hazardous Materials as provided for in the text.

Regulation of the Minister of Public works No. 16/PRT/M/2011 on guidance for the operation and maintenance of pond irrigation network.
This Regulation provides for a guidance to enable the government, provincial government and regency/municipal governments to efficiently and effectively operate and maintain pond irrigation networks. The Regulation further provides for the monitoring and evaluation of the operation and maintenance of pond irrigation networks, for the institutions and organizations responsible for carrying out these activities and for their financing.
Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. 405/Kpts/SR140/6/2004 RE Change of names of formulas and use of pesticides.
The Decree provides for the variation in the formulas and the indication of use of the pesticides listed in the Appendices per Article 1, whose circulation, importation and utilization happened prior to the issuance of the present decree, and shall be consented for the duration of one year, after which period they must be disposed of and destroyed.
Regulation of the Minister of Forestry No. P.10/Menhut-II/2006 on Inventorying of Production Forests of the Forest Management Unit Level.
The purpose of this Regulation is to undertake periodically comprehensive forest inventorying in order to ascertain the conditions of standing stocks and to monitor the conservation trend of standing stocks in production forest management units. Every manager of Production-Forest Management Units (KPHP) or holders of Business Licence to Utilize Timber Forest Products (IUPHHK) shall undertake forest inventorying as provided for in Chapter III. Chapters IV and V deal with reporting of results of forest inventorying and formulation of action plans, and the making of permanent measuring compartments. The Ministry of Forestry shall supervise the activities of forest inventorying (Chapter VI). The remaining Chapters contain sanctions and transitional provisions.

Provisions deal with oil and natural gas being natural resources of the Country whose exploitation and use and all related operations must be controlled and regulated by appointed authorities in order to properly conduct operations, ensure the rights of the country on these important energy resources , their correct production and management and prevention of environmental damages.
