The MoFAI (Model Forest Act Initiative) Newsletters provide curated updates on forest law developments, legislative reforms, and policy trends across Asia and the Pacific and beyond, including the Congo and Amazon regions. Developed in collaboration with the ADB Library, the newsletters track legal, regulatory, and governance developments affecting forests, land use, biodiversity conservation, and related environmental sectors.

Each issue compiles region‑by‑region highlights covering developments such as new forest and protected areas legislation, court decisions, policy reforms, and emerging issues including deforestation drivers, carbon markets, social forestry, land tenure, and forest‑related climate action. The newsletters also draw attention to comparative and global developments that may inform domestic forest law reform and implementation.
