Law on International Commercial Arbitration (Uzbekistan)

The International Commercial Arbitration law enumerates the instances when a dispute arising from all relationships of a commercial nature, both contractual and non-contractual, is considered as an international arbitration, which would fall within the ambit of, and may be appropriately referred to, international commercial arbitration, by the mutual agreement of the parties. An arbitration agreement be made in writing, and such rule may be satisfied if the agreement was done so electronically, provided that the information contained in the electronic correspondence is available for subsequent use. It provides for the composition, jurisdiction and powers of the arbitral court, as well as the process and conduct to be observed in arbitral proceedings.
