Companies Act of Bhutan, 2016
The Act differentiated the types of companies including private, public and government companies. It also prescribed the rules applicable to the articles of incorporation, company names, issuance of shares and securities, requirement of directors, conduct of general meetings, the management and administration of companies, requirements for the financial statement and audit, the registration of charges, process of compromises and amalgamations for companies, and the winding up, striking off and dissolution thereof.
