Cambodia's Updated Nationally Determined Contribution

In Cambodia's Updated Nationally Determined Contribution, it submits an estimated emissions reduction with Forest and Other Land Use (FOLU) by 2030 under the NDC scenario of approximately 64.6 million CO2e/year (41.7% reduction of which 59.1% is from the FOLU). Mitigation actions were identified from information provided by the relevant ministries across seven mitigation sectors: energy, waste, industry, transport, agriculture, building, and the FOLU. In terms of adaptation, all line ministries with adaptation relevance submitted their proposed priority actions. The focus sectors include agriculture, coastal zones, energy, human health, industry, infrastructure, livelihood, poverty, biodiversity, tourism, and water resources. Certain crucial cross-cutting areas were also identified including gender, youth involvement, and engagement with the private sector.
