Watcharachai Jirijindakul

Watcharachai Jirijindakul is a law lecturer at the National Institute of Development Adminsitration Graduate School of Law. He is a law instructor, teaching sociology of law and development, law and economics and advanced law and development to the master and doctoral students in LL.M. and LL.D. programs. Watcharacha's interests cover the interdisciplinary and empirical legal research, particularly how to apply laws as tools for development and social justice. The research areas he works with is about international trade and investment law and development; and the last three years he got involved in several research projects on business and human rights and environment theme especially in Southeast Asia.

At present, Watcharachai is conducting the research with the Community Resource Centre on the business and human rights and environmental issues in Thailand. He does training and empowers the locals and community on BHR and the environment. In the past, he joined the research project on transboundary pollution and cross-border investment between Thailand and Lao PDR.
