Shruti Kakkar

Shruti Kakkar is an academic with expertise in Environmental Law, Climate Change, Migration and Taxation Laws. She has completed her LL.M from NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad and is also presently pursuing her Ph.D. there.

She has over seven years of teaching experience and has taught at institutions of repute like Gujarat National Law University, Nirma University and KIIT University. She has been invited to deliver expert lectures by Regional Training Institute All India Radio & Doordarshan, Ahmedabad and Surat International Airport. She has also received scholarships to attend courses on Migration Law and Public International Law from International Institute of Humanitarian Laws, Italy and the Hague Academy of International Law. She was also a participant at course on Migrant Inclusion in Policy and Practice at Radbound University, Netherlands.

Her last teaching assignment was with Auro University, Surat, where she taught Environment Law for over two years. Early this year she took a break to complete her Doctoral thesis.
