Ninette Pajarillaga

Senior Environmental Specialist

Over the last 24 years, Ninette have had many exciting opportunities to work as Environmental and Social Specialist across a wide range of projects for several clients including government, private development, academe, non-government organizations, multilateral agencies and infrastructure providers. She is a strategic and innovative thinker able to influence decision-making processes, results-driven, and passionate about the development of strategy (setting the vision), systems, and actions for how to get there. Her work experience encompasses design and implementation of programs to promote environmental and social best practices and compliance. She have worked in a diverse range of projects including urban infrastructures, water supply, sanitation, transport, energy, renewable resources, climate adaptation and mitigation, agriculture and solid waste management. She have excellent track record in managing stakeholder relations’ interface within environmental, social and health impact assessments (ESHIA) and operational frameworks to build relationships with host communities and regulatory bodies. Also managed several large studies on climate change mitigation, adaptation and smart growth planning. In addition, she have been responsible for recruitment, management and mentorship of international and local environmental and social experts, frequently been part of a multi-disciplinary team and have extensive experience of project management.
