Hazel Sanchez is a lawyer in the Office of the General Counsel since 2018. She specializes in international procurement and has been providing legal advice and guidance on procurement issues to more than 30 ADB member countries - Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Fiji, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Timor Leste, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Philippines, Maldives, Kyrgyz Republic, Laos, Myanmar, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Lao People’s Democratic Republic and Papua New Guinea. Prior to joining ADB, she concurrently held the post of Associate General Counsel of San Miguel Holdings Corp. and Head of Legal and Government Relations of Luzon Clean Water Development Corporation. She also served as a consultant to the Philippine flag carrier and national airline, Philippine Airlines Inc., and was a former associate lawyer of Anover Anover San Diego & Primavera Law Offices.
Hazel has been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines since 2011.
