Geelyn Gamolo

Geelyn Gamolo is a lawyer who is currently working with the Commission on Human Rights in Caraga Region. She is designated as a Focal Person for Indigenous Peoples (IP) concerns. She was introduced into the developmental work when she worked for Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panlegal (SALIGAN), a Non-Governmental Organization that woks with marginalized sectors. In her work, she saw the interplay between IP rights, human rights, and environmental issues, and would like to gain more knowledge on this aspect. She teaches at a community college in her hometown.
