Carmelito D. Clabisellas Jr. is a 4L Juris Doctor with Thesis student of the University of Cebu School of Law. He is a member of the mooting team of the said university and has represented the Philippines in international moot court competitions dealing with international environmental law issues such as issues concerning protection of migratory species.
His JD thesis paper is entitled Opening Doors and Border: Establishing State Obligation under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) for Cross-Border ‘Environmental Refugees’ Seeking Protection in the Philippines. He is interested in refugee law, environmental law, and human rights law.
