Augusto Castro

Augusto Castro finished his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Art Management, at Ateneo de Manila University. He is finishing his Juris Doctor degree at Ateneo Law School. He studied International Human Rights Law at University of Malaya, Human Rights in Asia at Seoul National University, and Cultural Heritage Law at Université de Genevé.

He has served as a research consultant for International Union for Conservation of Nature, Tanggol Kalikasan, and Presidential Commission on Good Government and has worked on projects involving the United States Agency for International Development and United Nations Development Program. He specializes in cultural heritage law, environmental law, indigenous peoples law, and international economic law.
