Adzidah Yaakob

Adzidah binti Yaakob is presently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. She attained her LLB and Master on Comparative Law from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She is also a holder of a PhD degree (Environmental Law) from University of Malaya. She has joined USIM (previously known as KUIM) since 2004 as a Tutor. Since then, she has taught various law subjects i.e. Law of Contract, Islamic Law of Evidence, Administrative Law, Administration of Islamic Law in Malaysia, Negotiation Skill and Sulh, Law of Torts, Constitutional Law and Land Law. Her area of interests includes forest conservation from the Environmental Law perspectives, protection of environment from Islamic perspectives, children rights to a healthy environment, working children, the effectiveness of sulh in matrimonial disputes and also consumer issues.
