The Legal Situation of LGBT People in Asia and Pacific Developing Countries

Jogendra Ghimire is a senior lawyer from ADB and has over 15 years of legal experience. In this ADB seminar, he discussed relevant laws on sexual orientation, particularly policies and laws that promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) inclusion. 

In the ADB seminar, On the Margins of Development: Asia Pacific LGBT Inclusion, Poverty Reduction, and Prosperity, he enumerated international treaties and instruments that uphold equality and non-discrimination.
