Validation Workshop on Cambodia E-commerce Trustmark Scheme
The Asian Development Bank, in collaboration with the Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC), hosts the Validation Workshop on the draft Cambodia E-commerce Trustmark Scheme(CETS) on 17-18 October 2024, at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The CETS, developed under ADB’s Technical Assistance 6618 (Enabling a Conducive Environment for the Digital Economy) in close collaboration with the MOC, aims to support the development of a thriving e-commerce ecosystem in Cambodia. An e-commerce Trustmark enables the certification of online sellers of goods and services to ensure authenticity and strengthen confidence among shoppers.
In this workshop, the speakers discuss the importance of CETS and its proposed legal, administrative, and institutional framework. The validation workshop is important to ensure relevance and accuracy, enhance decision-making, and improve the quality and effectiveness of the CETS.
