ADB Convened Inaugural Uzbekistan Judicial Colloquium

ADB Uzbekistan Resident Mission Deputy Country Director Enrico Pinali made opening remarks and emphasized the important role of the judiciary in the effective implementation of laws with significant development impacts, such as the 2021 Law on International Commercial Arbitration enacted with ADB's assistance to improve the business climate. He thanked the Uzbekistan Supreme Court and the High School of Judges and reiterated ADB's continuing support for judicial capacity building and knowledge sharing.
