ADB Conducted Consultations with the Royal Academy of Judicial Professions on Developing Capacity Building Programs for Judges

ADB's Law and Policy Reform team met with authorities from Cambodia's Royal Academy of Judicial Professions (RJAP) to discuss capacity building of new and senior judges on commercial, environmental and climate change disputes.

ADB's Law and Policy Reform Team met with authorities from Cambodia's Royal Academy of Judicial Professions (RJAP) to discuss capacity building of new and senior judges on commercial, environmental and climate change disputes. His Excellency Chhorn Proleung, RJAP President, welcomed the ADB team and remarked on the importance of continuing judicial education especially in emerging areas such as climate change. He also noted that ADB's technical assistance is timely given the anticipated establishment of commercial courts in Cambodia to increase investor confidence and attract more foreign investments.
