Women in Development and Nation Building Act, Republic Act No. 7192 (Philippines)

The Act states that women of legal age, regardless of civil status, shall have the capacity to act and enter into contracts which shall, in every respect, be equal to that of men under similar circumstances. In all contractual situations where married men have the capacity to act, married women shall also have equal rights. 

The National Economic and Development Authority is mandated with primary responsibility to ensure participation of women as recipients of foreign aid, grants, and loans, as well as the implementation of the Act.
