Water Resources Regulation 1982 (Papua New Guinea)

The Water Resources Regulation provides for the form of applications for water use permit, including the permit to take, dam or otherwise use water, discharge water or waste or for water investigation. It further provides for the fees for various water uses. It sets water quality standards, and penalizes discharge or use of water which increases the allowed level of any substance or parameter above the natural maximum level. The forms for the applications, permits, and various fees are appended as schedules of the Regulation.
