Truth in Lending Act, Republic Act No. 3765 (Philippines)

Prior to the consummation of a credit transaction, the creditor is required to provide the following information in writing: 

• The price of the credit
• Any down payment or trade-ins made by the debtor
• The difference between the amount of the credit and the down payment and/or trade-ins
• Itemized charges to be paid by the debtor in connection with the credit transaction
• The total amount to be financed
• The finance charge expressed in pesos and centavos
• The percentage that the interest or finance charge bears to the total amount to be financed
