Trademark Act, Act No. 127 of 1959 (Japan)
The Act prescribes the rules and requirements for trademark registration, an enumeration of unregistrable trademarks, conduct of the examination proceedings by examiners as directed by the Commissioner of the Patent Office for applications of trademark registration, and defined trademark rights. It further defined when trademark rights are infringed and the reliefs available to a holder of a trademark right on such infringement.
