Thailand Energy Efficiency Development Plan 2015−2036

The Thailand Energy Efficiency Development Plan (EEP) 2015-2036 increases the target set by the EEP 2011, now targeting an energy intensity reduction of 30% by 2036. The EEP pushes for energy conservation, particularly in factories, buildings and public building, by imposing fees on excessive use of electricity reckoned from the Ministry of Energy's standard. The EEP also mandates energy use reporting per area of new buildings.
