Te Kete: Tuvalu National Strategy for Sustainable Development 2021-2030

The Te Kete: National Strategy for Sustainable Development maps out a 10-year strategy to achieve Tuvalu's national vision of "a peaceful, resilient and prosperous Tuvalu." Te Kete is intended to be focused, selective and non-prescriptive, and is a broad national planning framework with which subordinate strategic plans, sector and corporate plans, annual plans and budgets should be aligned. It outlines five Strategic Priority Areas, namely, Enabling Environment, Economic Development, Social Development, Island and Culture Development, and Infrastructure Development. Twenty National Outcomes are organized under the umbrella of the Strategic Priority Areas. For each Strategic Priority area, a goal is identified. In turn, under the National Outcome, Key Outcome Results and Key Strategic Actions are set out. In closing, Te Kete outlines a framework for implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
