The Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, Republic Act No. 9231 (Philippines)

The Act states that the children's hours of work are limited if they are permitted by law to work. It is further required that any income that the children earn from such work shall be owned by them and set aside primarily for their support, education or skills acquisition. Their parents are required to set up a trust fund for the wages and salaries earned by the children from their work.
