The Social Security Act, 2075 (2018) (Nepal)
The Act provides for a social security allowance for senior citizens, indigents, incapacitated and helpless persons, helpless single women, citizens with disabilities, children who are extremely destitute, citizens who are unable to take care of themselves, and citizens belonging to tribes which are on the verge of extinction. For this purpose, an application should be lodged before the applicable Local Level by the person entitled to the social security allowance or his or her guardian curator or caretaker, if applicable.
