Rules of Procedure for Administrative Cases Filed with the Department of Trade and Industry for Violations of the Consumer Act of the Philippines and Other Trade and Industry Laws (Philippines)
The procedural rules provide for the cases covered, venue for complaints filed by consumers for violation of the consumer act, how cases are commenced and the proceedings before the adjudication officer, among others. It further provides that the application and implementation of the procedural rules, primary consideration should be given for the amicable resolution of disputes.
